Course Details

“Varmakalai or famously known as kalari, an ancient Tamil art of healing and self-defense, holds deep roots in traditional South Indian martial arts and medicine. Known for its profound understanding of vital points (marma) in the body, Varmakalai teaches both therapeutic techniques and combat strategies. At Shoonya, we integrate Varmakalai into our curriculum alongside Ayurveda and yoga, offering students a holistic approach to wellness and self-mastery.
